The Carezza lake and its mermaid
This splendid mountain lake has inspired the curiosity and the inspiration of many famous painters and writers. Anyone who has stopped on its banks can understand why this striking reflecting pool is the origin of so many sagas. The enchanted nature of this lake, surrounded by woodlands is due to its colour, sparkling tones of green and blue. At times the colour is more green, swiftly changing to the other extreme… and then mixing the two colours together.
