Alpine Pearls - Collepietra and the municipality of Cornedo have been members of the Association “Alpine Pearls” since January 2006. Alpine Pearls is an active cross-border community that emphasises eco-compatible mobility, a holiday marked by soft mobility in one of the most beautiful Alpine resorts in Europe.

Mobility is a cultural issue; moving around is one of the problems and one of the opportunities of our era. We all know that our means of transport produce pollution, stress, traffic jams. Change is possible and necessary! Yet technical solutions alone are not sufficient. Soft mobility begins in our heads and involves our attitudes, habits, opinions and prejudices. As part of this project the use of public transport will be intensified and facilitated, combining a holiday with a low-impact approach to nature.
